Two packages. One decision.

Both packages ship on Next.js and Vercel. Both include the launch review. The difference is scope, timeline, and how the second package expands.

From research to review, in five steps.

  1. Research

Product, buyer, competitor, and search-intent research before design. Two to five days depending on package.

  2. Design

Design system first, then the pages. One round on Site, two on Site+. Comments in Figma, not calls.

  3. Build

Next.js on Vercel, mobile-first, accessible by default. Content plugged in as you send it.

  4. Launch

Deploy to production. Handoff of the repo and the Vercel project. You own everything from day one.

  5. Review

Thirty days after launch, I run the launch review on the site I just shipped. PDF with 12 to 25 findings.

Two weeks, day by day.

What a Site engagement actually looks like on the calendar, Monday to Friday, both weeks. Site+ adds a third week of design plus one add-on the client picks at kickoff.

Week 2

Final client review round on the built site.
Fri

First 30 days after launch, I run the review on the site I just built.

Findings and prioritization delivered as a PDF report. The review draws from a 39-check framework across six tiers: Strategic, UX and Interaction, Visual and UI, Research, Accessibility, and Technical. Site gets 12 to 15 findings across the four core tiers. Site+ gets 20 to 25 across all six, plus a walkthrough call.

No re-run. No scope creep. The review is the studio's methodology extending past ship, not a separate product.

  • Quarterly check-in on performance and accessibility, delivered as a short note
  • Priority reply, ahead of new inbound
Excludes
Structural rebuilds, new page templates, brand refreshes, or anything larger than a two-hour edit — those spin up as a new package.
Cancel
Monthly, cancel any time with 30 days notice. Not autobilled without a card on file.

Ranges reflect category-typical pricing and process for small-business web work in 2026. Freelancer figures vary widely by market and reference class; ABD figures are the published Site and Site+ package prices.

What is excluded.

  • Copywriting from scratch. I edit, the client provides.
  • Content editing beyond the bundled add-on.
  • Custom illustration.
  • Photography. Client provides, or stock.
  • Ongoing hosting. Client keeps their own Vercel account.

Terms.

Payment
Fifty percent deposit at kickoff, fifty percent at launch.
Kickoff
Scoping call, contract, deposit invoice. Work begins the following Monday.
Handoff
Repo transferred to the client's GitHub. Vercel project transferred to the client's Vercel account. Client owns everything.

Before you write.

What if my copy isn't ready?
Site+ includes an optional editorial pass on three pages, in the studio's voice. Otherwise, the client provides copy. I don't write from scratch on the base packages.
Who owns the code?
You do. At launch the repo transfers to your GitHub and the Vercel project transfers to your Vercel account. No lock-in, no hosting fees to me.
Can I edit the site myself later?
The base packages are hand-coded: fastest, smallest, nothing to keep updated. If you need to edit copy without me, add the content editor on Site+ and you'll update pages from a simple dashboard.
What if two rounds isn't enough?
Almost always is. When it isn't, the third round is billable at the day rate ($1,500). Scope creep doesn't get smuggled through revisions.
What if I need more pages later?
Additional pages billed per page at the day rate. No retainer, no lock-in. Come back when you need them.
Do you host it?
No. Your site runs on your Vercel account. Zero recurring dependency on the studio, and you can move at any time.
What if I don't like the design?
The first round is a full site draft. If we aren't converging by the end of round two, we don't ship. You owe nothing beyond the deposit.

Higher-ticket work.
